Agri Bussiness and Export Knowledge Centre is receiving
number of enquiries from exporters for the purchase of
Onion, Pomegranate, Lime, Papaya, Grapes, Drum stick,
etc.
The farmers who are interested to sell these commodities
for a better price are informed to furnish the information
relating to crops, variety, harvesting time, total
quantity available for export immediately to the Head,
Agri Business and Export Knowledge Centre, University of
Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad (E-mail-agribusinessd@yahoo.co.in).
Further the farmers are advised to form their own
association to facilitate the exporter to procure the
commodities from single place.

Establishment of Irradiation Unit
We are pleased to inform that the Karnataka State Agricultural Marketing Board, Government of Karnataka has accepted in principle the project Proposal submitted by Agri Business Export And Knowledge Centre,UAS,Dharwad relating to the establishment of an "Irradiation Unit for Agricultural and Horticultural Commodities" at APMC, Hubli under Public-Private equity partition mode.In this regard the board has invited the expression of Interest from the Private Parties/ Institutions/ Companies and the last date is 19th May,2008 .For further details contact The Joint-Director(Planning),Dept of Agriculture ,Bangalore -01 Phone no: 080-22864175. |
